Steal An Egg Butterfly: Net, Bloom & Conversions

Steal An Egg butterfly guide: find the net, catch during Bloom and plan conversions for Enchanted Essence while keeping every recipe tier.

Sources reviewed: 6 min read

Butterflies are part of the Enchanted Forest progression. Finish the Wisp chain, enter the Enchanted Tree and collect the Butterfly Net. Catch during Butterfly Bloom, then use the converter and shrine for Enchanted Essence. Start with the net; keep all four tiers for the recipe.

How to get the Butterfly Net

The net is inside the Enchanted Tree, beyond the Wisp quest unlock. It is a collection tool, not a pet hatched from an egg. If the tree is still sealed, use our existing Wisp walkthrough rather than hunting for butterflies first. Wisp location and quests →

  1. Finish the objectives shown in your active Wisp panel. Our Wisp guide explains why reported egg/fusion targets differ.
  2. Return Wisp in-game and enter the tree. A checked website checklist cannot open the door. Tree access guide →
  3. Look for the glowing central pickup inside. Community guides describe the net as free. Equip it from your inventory before catching.

How to catch butterflies during Butterfly Bloom

When Bloom is active, equip the net, approach a butterfly and use the net. Check that the owned count increases. GamerNom’s video at 6:22 visibly shows an Emerald catch confirmation; Roonby describes the same equip-and-catch loop. Roonby

Timing is not settled: Timesaver reports roughly 30-minute intervals and explicitly says the schedule is not officially confirmed; Gameboost calls the event timing random. Follow your server’s event notice/countdown. This page does not run a supposedly synchronized timer. Timesaver · Gameboost

Before each Bloom, choose a goal: one recipe or a stock of Radiant. After the event, record each tier separately and check the shrine before exchanging. A video’s “unlimited” or daily catch claim is not a measured rate for your server, device or play session.

Steal An Egg butterfly conversions: Emerald to Radiant

Roonby and Gameboost report these upward trades. Each row consumes the left-hand stack; a converted butterfly cannot also remain in your recipe reserve. Check the converter’s live terms before confirming a trade. Roonby · Gameboost

Trade inReceive
10 Emerald1 Sapphire
10 Sapphire1 Amethyst
50 Amethyst1 Radiant

Conversion-only arithmetic: 1 Amethyst costs 100 Emerald through Sapphire; 1 Radiant costs 5,000 Emerald through all three trades. These are equivalent input costs, not spawn odds, required direct catches or a farming-time estimate. Catching a higher tier directly changes the plan.

Enchanted Essence recipe: keep every tier

Timesaver’s published shrine screenshot shows the following inputs for one Enchanted Essence. We read these counts from that third-party image; it is not our own gameplay capture. Gameboost lists matching amounts. View the source and shrine screenshot

Emerald240per Essence
Sapphire115per Essence
Amethyst40per Essence
Radiant1per Essence

Treat these as four simultaneous requirements. A large total inventory is not enough if one color is short. The planner protects the target stacks first, then works backward from the missing Radiant to Amethyst, Sapphire and Emerald.

Worked example, starting from zero: keep 240 Emerald, make 1,015 Sapphire, keep 115 of them and turn the other 900 into 90 Amethyst. Keep 40 Amethyst and convert 50 into 1 Radiant. Total: 10,390 Emerald if everything is made by conversion. With 1 Radiant already owned, that drops to 5,390. This is our arithmetic, not a claim about how the event distributes drops.

Plan your butterflies before converting

Enter what you own. The plan assumes you gather any missing resources as Emerald and trade upward at 10:1, 10:1 and 50:1. It keeps the selected recipe amounts intact.

My shrine recipe is different

Edit the amount of each tier needed per Essence. The conversion ratios stay at the reported 10/10/50. If your converter shows different ratios, this plan does not apply.

Counts are used only for this calculation and are not saved or sent. A successful calculation sends an anonymous use event if first-party analytics is enabled; the privacy page offers an opt-out.

If something is missing

The tree is locked or I cannot find the net
Check the quest panel and the in-game return step first. Use the entry walkthrough to compare your location. We have not verified a server-switch or restart fix. Wisp troubleshooting →
Bloom is active but I see no butterflies
Check that the tree was opened and the net was collected/equipped, then read the active event notice. Published guides connect those prerequisites to catching. If your panel differs, record its wording rather than treating an unverified reset as a cure.
The shrine says “Need More Butterflies”
Compare each tier with the four separate targets. Upward trades may have spent an input color you still need. Re-enter your current counts in the planner; do not rely on the inventory you had before converting.

Sources, evidence and unresolved details

The sources below are community publications, not official patch notes. Several also sell game services; a link is a reference, not a recommendation to buy. The checked video shows tree entry and Emerald catching, while the third-party image supports the recipe counts. Neither replaces checking your current server. We have not established event duration, drop odds or catches per hour. Dates below show our source review date.

Essence application claims conflict too: AllThingsHow says it is applied to an unhatched egg and stacks mutations; GGWTB describes a pet application that overwrites them. We cannot resolve that from the checked material. Do not infer stacking, a guaranteed income multiplier or the correct target from this planner; read the live item description before using Essence. Butterfly questions

Do I buy the Butterfly Net with Robux?

The checked community guides describe the central tree pickup as free. Finish the access progression first and use the in-game pickup; this website does not sell or grant the net.

Can I catch Radiant instead of converting?

AllThingsHow reports rare direct Radiant catches during Bloom, but gives no verified drop probability. Enter a Radiant you already own in the planner; a direct catch saves the 50-Amethyst conversion for that unit.

Can this calculator unlock the tree or craft Essence?

No. It calculates an inventory plan only. You must complete quests, catch, exchange and craft inside Roblox. There is no account connection, automatic farming or game-state verification.
